The American Heart Association BLS Provider course is for healthcare providers/healthcare program students who do not have a current AHA BLS certification (first time attendee/previous BLS certification expired).   If you are attending or registered in a healthcare educational program, please provide the name of the educational instutition and healthcare discipline in the comments section of the registration link.

Prior to the written exam and skills assessment, the in-person course will include:

• All required content from the 2020 edition of the AHA BLS Provider manual (required for class)
• AHA Updated BLS Provider Guidelines provided in the 2025 Interim Materials 
• Skills practice with instructor feedback and assistance

An American Heart Association BLS Provider 2-year certification card will be issued upon successful completion of this course via eCard.
